The Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations (ECSO) week

The Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations (ECSO) week kicked off on June 30- July 02, 2022 under the theme: “Proactive CSOs for Peace, Democracy and Development.” It was organized by the Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations Council and the Authority for Civil Society Organizations.
The objective of the event was to promote the activities of CSOs in Ethiopia and enhance their endeavor in enhancing the development of the nation in all aspects.
A three-day workshop, organized as part of the event, was opened in the presence of senior government officials, representatives of Civil Society Organization and other pertinent partners.
Various programs, that depict the theme, was steered over the last three days including:
• Grand Opening: guest of honors from federal ministry offices
• Exhibition: more than 100 civil society organizations were participated
• Panel Discussions: distinguished guests to facilitate the discussion

Appreciating the reform carried out to create smooth working environment to CSOs in Ethiopia PMC participated in all form of the celebration. Sponsored by CORHA PMC displayed all the Information, Communication and Education (IEC) materials like Books, Booklets, Broachers, Stickers, Roll up banners, Audios, etc.
