Population Media Center (PMC) Ethiopia is seeking a highly creative and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Freelance TikTok Content Creator and Producer.
About PMC Ethiopia: PMC uses the power of storytelling to inspire positive social and behavioral change. Through radio, television, and digital platforms, we empower communities, particularly women and girls, to promote health, human rights, and gender equality.
Position Summary The TikTok Content Creator and Producer will plan, produce, edit, and manage engaging short-form videos to expand PMC’s digital presence and support social and behavior change objectives. The role involves creating impactful stories on issues such as gender-based violence (GBV), female genital mutilation (FGM), child marriage, women’s empowerment, and youth engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
- Produce and publish high-quality TikTok videos.
- Manage and grow PMC’s TikTok platform (currently 35,000+ followers).
- Host TikTok Live sessions to engage audiences.
- Collaborate with PMC’s Communications and Marketing team.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and ethical storytelling standards.
Eligibility Requirements
- Active TikTok account with at least 200,000 followers.
- Proven experience producing original, engaging TikTok content.
- Strong video production and editing skills.
- Knowledge of gender equality, GBV, FGM, child marriage, and women’s rights is an advantage.
