Population Media Center-Ethiopia is an international non-governmental organization specialized in muti-media social behavior change (SBC) activities in the area of health and social issues.
Population Media Center-Ethiopia would line to develop 3D movies on the following key WASH issues of Waste management, handwashing steps and critical times of hand washing, latrine construction, safe disposal of child feces, household water treatment, water point utility management, and menstrual hygiene management (MHM).
The organization would like to temporarily higher a qualified script writer for the 3D movies on the above seven WASH issues.
Job Description:
- Write creative scripts appropriate for the 3D movies on the following issues:
- Waste management
- handwashing steps and critical times of handwashing
- latrine construction
- safe disposal of child feces
- household water treatment
- water point utility management
- Menstrual hygiene management (MHM)
- Submit the draft scripts for PMC-E and UNICEF technical review team
- Hold discussion with the team if necessary
- Incorporate comments given by the technical team
- Submit the final version of the scripts
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications:
- Educational Background
- Master degree in the areas of Public Health and Environmental Health Science
- Work Experience on:
- At least five years of experienced in the area of behavior change communication or Hygiene and environmental health
- Experience in health-related material development
- Experience in Creative writing of scripts for messages and material development
