YEREGEBU FETELOCH

PMC produced Yeregebu Feteloch (“Broken Dreams”) in Ethiopia. This 130-episode radio show aired January 2012 through August 21, 2014, in Amharic, the official language of Ethiopia.

Yeregebu Feteloch aired on the National Service Radio of Ethiopia twice per week and was the centerpiece of a Whole Society Strategy to address alcohol, substance abuse, and HIV/AIDS. This multi-media campaign also included a radio talk show, Finote Lesiket (“The Right Path to Success”); a book, Azurit (“Whirlwind”); and capacity building training programs. In addition to the 130 episodes, there were also two additional broadcasts for comments from the audience.
